Stitch From Stash January Edition !!!

I am taking part in Stitch from Stash 2014 hosted by Mel from Epic Stitching.  The main gist is to stick to a budget of the equivalent of $25 USD each month for stitching stash in 2014.  This is great for me as I am a hopeless spender and I am really hoping to stick to this.  Its not like I need any stash as I have plenty for many lifetimes but I am a stitchaholic and I can't resist.  We are allowed to carry any remaining monies over and things like magazine subscriptions that we already have (I have two ongoing ones) are not included.  We are also allowed one cheat month but I haven't used that yet !!!

This month I started the month with taking part in Crazy January Challenge 2014.  My projects were either new starts from stash or continuations of current WIP's.  Once I completed that I took one of my WIP's (Trick or Treat) and worked on that for the rest of the month.  I also have a secret project that I am working on.  I will be revealing this later in the year but I can't yet.

My spending this month was as follows:

Secret Project:  £10.75
Crafty Kitten Thread of the Months:  £1.90
Total Spent:  £12.65 approximately $21 USD
Total Remaining:  £2.35 approximately $4 USD

Here's a piccy of some of my purchases, the gorgeous threads from The Crafty Kitten ...

I've used google to calculate the currency exchange, so any mistakes are theirs hahaha !!!

Happy Stitching Everybody !!!!

  5. Those are just beautiful threads!!
Donna - if your threads are part of a monthly, pre-paid program where you get one different color a month (or something like that) they can be exempt if you choose from the budget as they are a commitment you've already made. ;)
