Mega Update Post !!! (Travelling Projects: Update Two, Morning Projects: Update Seventeen, Fractal Bookmark: Update Five, Oakhaven 2011 SAL: Update Six and The Great Escape SAL: Update One)

I can't believe its been so long since my last update and its been even longer since my last stitching update.  Therefore this update is going to be a mega update.  First up is my latest travel project.  It is a small freebie of a bowl of pansies. This would have been a quick stitch but the only time I really work on my travel project is when I am at my sisters or grans so it took a while to actually finish.  It is quite a cute picture and the bright colours were lovely and cheery to stitch:

Next up is my current morning project finishes of which there are four.  I have finished Average Dog.  I think this design is one of favourite of all time.  I LOVE the saying and the colouring of the dog.  Here he is in all his glory:

They all have a halloween theme and once again are all internet freebies.  I LOVE stitching halloween designs.  In particular I LOVED stitching the witch on her broom.  It was my first experience of using Kreinik threads and I must say I was impressed.  They added a real sparkle to the design and were really good to use.  I am also really impressed with my French knots on 'Best Witches" because I think they turned out really well.  Here are the piccys:

I have also completed the latest page of my Fractal Bookmark.  This is the last of the full pages and I have only one small page left to complete.  I am only showing a picture of the page I am working on because I am so close to the end:

I have also started taking part in The Great Escape SAL designed by Abi Gurden and available via The Stitch Specialists yahoo group.  I have currently completed the first three parts and the finished pic is available by following this link.  I recommend joining the site because everyone is very friendly and the designs are gorgeous.

GIVEAWAY UPDATE!! (OOps!!!)

I just noticed in my last post about my giveaway that I wrote that the closing date was Monday 12th October 2011 at 12.00pm (U.K. time)  I've just realised that Monday was actually the 10th of October, so I will be extending the deadline for entries until 12:00pm (U.K. time) on Wednesday 12th of October and then I will draw names the next day.  Happy Stitching Everybody and sorry for the confusion!!
