HAED Christmas Tree and Animals: Update Six

I can't believe that I have finally finished the current page of my HAED.  However, I am so glad that I have because it has really brought the piece together.  I know I have been somewhat negative about how this piece was turning out but now I LOVE it.  The detail is phenomenal and the animals are so realistic.  Now I am moving onto the third page of my waterlilies design which will be a welcome break from all of the confetti from this project.  Now for the piccys!!:

The page I was working on:

And as a whole so far:

Amazingly there is only one page left to go so the next time this comes around in my rotation will be its last time.  I have mixed feelings about this, I don't know if anyone else feels the same when a large project is coming to an end?  I am excited to see it finished and have a project lined up to replace it in my rotation that I am excited to start (a new fractal bookmark) but I will miss stitching it.  Off to start my waterlilies.  Happy Stitching Everybody!!!

  2. I feel the same way when I'm coming to the end of a project. I like to stitch, so I'm sorry it's almost done, but I LOVE how it feels to get a finish, so I'm also happy to finish it. Don't feel like you're alone in this!!!
